Join Seasons Leadership Co-Founders Debbie Collard and Susan Ireland as they talk to Jaime Diglio, a highly accomplished performance coach and the Founder of inFirst Coaching, about her journey from the WAR Room to the WIN Room and her passion for helping others get unstuck and see their potential.

Show notes:
The journey from the WAR Room to the WIN Room (3:00)
Jaime shares some of her professional journey that inspired her TEDx Talk. She talks about how she was “Working Against Results” and needed to move to “What I Need” and how she got back on track.

Burnout can happen to anyone (10:40)
The leaders talk about how prevalent burnout is for leaders and dispel some of the old, harmful leadership advice like “never let them see you sweat.” They agree that you need to practice what you preach and the courage it takes to admit that you need help.

Being unique (15:33)
Jaime talks about uniqueness and how that makes for good leaders, teams, and helps address the “leadership gap.” She asserts “whatever you are interested in will make you interesting.” The leaders talk about how everyone being the same leads to watered down mediocre leadership and teams.

Actionable advice to improve your leadership today (25:00)
Debbie and Susan share the mission of the podcast to provide listeners with actionable advice they can put into practice now and ask Jaime to share some advice. Jaime talks through an exercise and a daily practice that leaders can use now to gain more awareness and build their brand. The discussion concludes with Jaime sharing what she is passionate about.

Reboot your recharge routine

Debbie's previous blog "recharge your leadership batteries" offers some timely insights to help you reboot your own practice of "me time." She shares this important reminder that inspires me to take time for myself, "by taking time off not only was I benefiting, but I was giving someone else the opportunity to stretch and grow and show themselves and others what they could do."
